CV preparation

Getting your CV right is vital to secure a job as a medical practitioner in Australia. To make a strong impression, it is essential that your job application CV is formatted well and includes the relevant content with the appropriate level of detail.

Below are the steps involved for preparing a CV with me:

  1. After receipt of payment is received, I email you a document outlining the information I need from you in order to build your CV.

  2. FIRST DRAFT: After receiving this information from you, I put together a draft of your new job application CV using the relevant details from the information you have provided including comments for you where further detail or clarification is needed.

  3. You review the first draft, respond to my suggestions and make any necessary adjustments, then return the updated draft to me.

  4. SECOND DRAFT: I review your updates, edit your CV from start to end, and provide you with a professionally formatted second draft, which in most cases will be a final product ready to submit.

My fee for preparing a job application CV is:

  • $300 for preparation of the first and second drafts;

  • + $50 for any additional reviews that may be required for clarification or as requested by the client.

Additional charges may apply to clients with lengthy experience or specialist training.  If the job you are applying for requires a specific CV pro-forma, let me know before payment. It is important to note that the content and formatting required for job applications and for AHPRA are vastly different, and hence you will need to make another CV when it comes time to apply for registration.

CV preparation with me is completed entirely via email correspondence. If you would like to discuss your CV or job applications with me, consultation fees will also apply. See consultation.
